Assistant Coach, California Soccer Association “North” Women's State Select Team 1997-1999.  In 1997 this team was Region IV and National Champion.  In 1998 this team was co-champion in Region IV.  The record for this team from 1997 to 1999 is 14-2-1. Served as acting Head Coach for the 1997 National Championship and 1998 Regional Championship.

Served as coach in Northern California or Region 4 youth soccer Olympic Development Program since 1982 (except for the 1994/95 season).

Head for Coach 3 state champion teams in youth club soccer. Co-Head Coach of one league Champion and one State Championship finalist in women's club soccer.

Assistant Coach for five years in Division I colleges.  Head Coach for three years in
a community college. Co-Head Coach at a Division I college for one year.

Coach Caldwell's Goals

"My goal as the CSAN Women's State Select Team Coach is to identify, select and prepare the Northern California Women's State Select for the Region IV Select Team Tournament and player evaluation in Salt Lake City, Utah June 15 -18, 2000.  The team will comprise the most talented available amateur players of any age.  The team will play predominantly zone defense and structured attacking play, with flexibility for expression of individual creativity and skill."
