March 30, 2000

This year CSAN will once again enter a men’s state select team in the Region IV Select Team Tournament in Salt Lake City (June 15-18, 2000). This program is the starting point of the national program that leads to selection of players for the United States Olympic Soccer Team and the U.S. National Amateur Team. The player selection process for Northern California starts in February.

Last year’s CSAN Men's Select Team did very well.  Five players were selected for the Regional player pool and three played in the National Select Team Tournament on the Region IV Men’s Select Team. With your help, we look forward to a similarly successful program this year.

A complete list of players who tried out for the 2000 Men's State Select Team can be found here.
